In a strong rebuttal to the recent statement by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Kashmir President Shah Ghulam Qadir, Khalid Butt, former General Secretary of Insaf Youth Wing Azad Kashmir (PTI), has accused the PML-N leadership of double standards and deceptive politics.
Speaking to Neelum TV, Khalid Butt said:
“In Islamabad, PML-N rules side by side with PPP. In Azad Kashmir, they pose as fierce rivals. This is nothing but a political drama — and the people of Kashmir won’t fall for it anymore.”

Khalid Butt criticized Shah Ghulam Qadir’s narrative as misleading and an attempt to manipulate public perception ahead of the upcoming elections.
“The same old faces return with new lies every election season. Whether it’s the ‘Form 47’ engineered government in Pakistan or the coming polls in Azad Kashmir — it’s the same script, the same deception.”
“This is not just about politics. It’s about the future of our generations.” — Khalid Butt
Khalid Butt urged the people of Azad Kashmir to recognize the vested interest groups behind these alliances, and to reject leaders who shift loyalties for the sake of power.
He added:
“We don’t need political merchants who trade ideals for positions. We need bold, ideological, and sacrificial leadership that stands with the people, not against them.”
He emphasized that the people of Azad Kashmir are now politically aware and can clearly see through the fabricated opposition between PML-N and PPP, who are allies in the federal government but play enemies in the region.
