PTI’s Miscreant Group Abuses Lawmakers – Mian Waheed Responds Strongly

Muzaffarabad (Neelum News) – Outside the Azad Kashmir Assembly, a group of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) youth resorted to abusive language and misconduct towards opposition lawmakers. The incident sparked a strong reaction from opposition member Mian Waheed, whose video statement has gone viral on social media.

Speaking to Neelum News following the incident, Mian Waheed said:

Members of the Legislative Assembly are elected by the public vote and must be respected. No political party has the right to allow its supporters to insult elected representatives. What happened today was not just the misconduct of a few youngsters — the real issue is their leader, Imran Khan, who has taught this generation the language of abuse, disrespect, and rebellion.”

He further stated that Imran Khan has poisoned the minds of youth in Pakistan, encouraging them to rebel against state institutions, political leaders, and democratic values.

This is not politics; this is a movement of chaos, falsehood, and destruction. Imran Khan is neither a leader nor a statesman. No one should be allowed to incite rebellion against the state or mislead the youth,” Waheed said.

He strongly condemned the abusive incident and highlighted that this toxic political culture is damaging both Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, stating that:

Those who promote such narratives are not loyal to the country or its people.”

After PTI workers shouted abuses outside the AJK Assembly, Mian Waheed accused Imran Khan of poisoning young minds with hate and disrespect.

Mian Waheed concluded by urging the government and relevant authorities to take strict action against those who consider abusive behavior a form of political expression and to ensure the dignity and safety of assembly members is protected at all times.
